Hello bees
How’s you?
I’m really tired- it’s been a very busy month for me, but also very excited ’cause I’ve done some of the coolest things in my carreer – yesterday I’ve shot my very first calendar of which I’ll post very soon on my Facebook page, so make sure you “like” it!
It’s been a while since we last talked about makeup, but today I wanted to share with you this coolest collection by Lime Crime - the Zodiac Glitters!
Let me first say: I absolutely adore Lime Crime, I love zodiac and I love glitters! So I really couldn’t think of a better mix than this!
The collection is made of 13 pots of glitters, each one inspired and dedicated to one of the Zodiac sign + 1 called Ophiuchus. You can buy the individual pot ($12.99 each) or the complete set for $129.99 – which is quite pricey to me, but anyways, you can buy only the colors you want! They’re all gorgeous, so let me just show you:
I’ll start with Ophiucus, ’cause I don’t know why they even put it in the collection – not that it isn’t pretty, but it’s not part of the zodiac. It’s a silver based glitter with rainbow shift. I’ve heard that Ophiucus should be a “missing” sign in the zodiac. Anyways.
Aries is this cool orangy red with tons of gold and green shimmer. This is one of my favourite out there, ’cause it’s so unique!
Taurus is a very dark olive with gold and green shift.
Gemini is another one of my very favourites- it’s a very subtle white almost clear, with tons of rainbow glitters. Stunning!
Cancer is amaaaaaazing! A very deep turquoise with blues and greens shift! It’s the perfect mermaid glitter!
Generally speaking, I’m a whore for gold glitters – but this Leo doestnt’ have anything special to me. Pretty anyway, but not very unique.
Out of the whole collection, this is probably the one I like the least: Virgo has an almost clear base, with iridiscent blue and purple glitters. It’s the least appealing to me and the poorest one in payoff.
Libra is a purplish pink with tonal glitters. It’s really weird since I love pink, but besides Virgo, the pinks in the collection (Libra and Saggittarius) are my second least favourites!
Loooooooooove this! Scorpio is a black-based glitter with billions of multi colored sparkles! Glad ’cause it’s my sign and I was afraid they would come out with a red glitter (I’m not a big fan of red), but this really surprised me! It reminds me of Eyeko‘s Cosmic polish for space age nails!
Saggitarius is described as a “magenta-pink with violet/green sparkle shift”. I can’t really see the green in it, but anyways, this is it
Capricorn is this beautiful forest green with tonal shimmering. I think this provides a very beautiful effect!
O M G! How spectacular Aquarius is? A very deep midnight blue with tons of purple, blue and turquoise sparkles. It seems to come out from A midsummer night dream or a fairytale. A+
Last but not the least, Pisces, which is a “periwinkle-blue with green/copper shift”. This is dreamy!
Here are the swatches of them all:
I really like them all, but the downside to me is that these are NOT meant to be eyeshadow glitters, but they’re meant to go on your face, nails and hair. Boo! What’s fun in glitters that you can’t apply on your lid?
The Lime Crime site recommends not to use in the immediate eye area, but I think I would give them a shot as an eyeshadow as well, with a very good adhesive and base underneath.
What do you think of this collection? What’s your star sign? And do you like you own “zodiac” glitter?
Let me know in the comments!
Stay beautiful! ♥

I’d get them if Lime Crime didn’t have such a horrible reputation, especially in the repackaging and stealing products department. People should really research this brand and their history before purchasing!!
Oh really? Never heard of that :\ Such a shame!
Do you know if the taurus is closer to olive or copper becase it is so hard to tell from the pictures and im considering buying it but id hate to end up with a green glitter
I’m afraid it’s more on the green side, ’cause the copper lays only in the shimmering, but the base is very dark – almost blackened green.
Ok. Thankyou so much!
